Our Story
Godmother II is a venture by a group of women who have christened themselves "The Godmother II Gals."
We love getting together and cooking food that is elevated, elegant, and engaging for our clients, family, and friends. Godmother II was born out of the desire to continue the legacy of the one and only Godmother of Malibu and her tradition of serving up delicious and down-right divine food to those she catered to for so many years.
The Mediterranean Salt is the original recipe from The Godmother of Malibu that she loved so much. The Godmother II Gals are proud to create it in her loving memory and bring it to you and yours.

The Process
Handmade at a Franciscan Monastery in Malibu, California, the process of making the salt is one of care, attention to detail, and lots of love.
The Godmother II Gals conjure for the making of the salt after having procured only the finest, organic herbs and quality spices to infuse the salt.
After preparing and measuring the ingredients and salt for the exact ratio, it is infused and then left to dry in the Malibu mountain air in secure, specialized containers.
This is the time when the magic happens, and all the flavors come together perfectly.
At the end of the drying process, the salt is bottled by hand by the Godmother II Gals to send off with joy to your table, and it is our wish that you enjoy it!
